Already a great dialogue even BEFORE the conference

As we arrived at our ‘temporary’ hotel at 130am Egypt time….the 20 journalists I traveled from the hotel with were noticeably tired & hungry.  After handing over our passports we were given our room assignments and assured that they would make the kitchen available for the 20 lost hungry souls.

Needless today say in between servings of the Tahini and the fried fish there was great dialogue/debate over whether or not Musharraf shot himself in the foot (politically) for the good of the country as my new Friend Ahmed suggested and how the dominating Political party in the US causes Pakistan to be Democratic or more military minded.

The night ended with a discussion about Lady Gaga and whether or not she is the next Madonna.

Gotta love Journalists…I think A.D.D is a prerequisite

although there will only ever be one madonna – lady gaga comes pretty close.
she is pop at its best.

Interesting, some suggest that Lady Gaga might infact be a man….. thoughts?

there might be some truth in that. perez hilton repeatedly refers to her as his ‘wife.’
but if she really is a man – that would just be too hot to be true.
